On Safari in Kenya
About
March 2022 found me on my very own Great Kenyan Adventure. A photo safari had been on my bucket list for many years, and when opportunities present themselves, you grab them with both hands and hold on tight.
I hope you fall in love with the animals in this small sampling as much as I did while photographing them. Kenya has made an extraordinary commitment to preserving its wildlife through national parks and conservancies, protecting these magnificent creatures for future generations.
You begin to understand the importance of that effort when a male lion stares you straight in the eye, or when a massive bull elephant lifts his trunk and trumpets to the world. In those moments, you realize just how powerful and precious the wild truly is.
The bush and the savannah are treasures—valuable not only to Kenya, but to all of us.
