Biography

 Jim Walker is the author of Kenya Safari: Another Great Adventure. An award-winning photographer based in Maine, USA, he has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe, Saudi Arabia, and Kenya. With more than 50 years of experience in travel photography - and over 40 years devoted to wildlife and bird photography - Jim brings a seasoned eye and deep appreciation for the natural world to every image he captures. 

Jim has published several books chronicling his travels and wildlife photography, available through Blurb.com or Amazon.com.  He has also authored multiple books focused on genealogy research, exploring both his own family history and that of others; these works can be found on Blurb.com, Amazon.com, or Lulu.com  A member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and the Maine Professional Photographers Association (MPPA), Jim’s photographs have appeared in numerous magazines, newspapers, and textbooks.   You can sign up  here to receive updates about his writing and future projects.
